90DLC: eating habits

I will be posting meal recipes, but here is a breakdown of the 90DLC diet:

Eat little and often:  
no fasting 

Don't cook every meal:  
you lose nutrients in cooking foods.

To Maintain Energy Levels: 

Eat carbohydrates in the morning/afternoon and proteins in the afternoon/evening:

Carbohydrates that are beneficial:
  • OATS
  • FRUIT
  • VEGETABLES
  • POTATOES
  • YAMS
  • BROWN RICE
  • LENTILS
  • QUINOA
Carbohydrates to avoid:
  • Wheat and gluten based products, especially the whites, white bread, white rice, white pasta etc.
  • Processed breakfast cereals
  • Processed fruit juices
Proteins that are beneficial:
  • FISH AND SEAFOOD
  • EGGS
  • GOAT/SHEEP MILK/CHEESE - Fat globules are 5 times smaller, and contain more nutrients, than cow based products and are therefore easier to digest.
  • BEANS
  • NUTS
  • SEEDS
  • YOGURT
  • WHEY
Balance Acidic Foods with Alkaline Foods: 

An overly acidic diet will result in illness and a weakened immune system. Introduce elements of both lists into your meals leaning toward the alkaline:

Acidic Foods:
  • PROCESSED FRUIT JUICES
  • PROCESSED/CANNED FOODS
  • CORN
  • LENTILS
  • OLIVES
  • BEANS
  • CASHEWS, PEANUTS, WALNUTS
  • SALMON, TUNA, SHRIMP, SHELLFISH
  • COCOA, COFFEE
Alkaline Foods:
  • GREENS
  • GREEN JUICE OR FRESHLY JUICED FRUITS.
  • GARLIC
  • EGG PLANT
  • CARROTS
  • CELERY
  • SEA VEGETABLES
  • PEPPERS
  • ONIONS
  • EDIBLE FLOWERS
  • CAULIFLOWER
  • BEETS
  • Although you would assume that citrus fruits would have an acidifying effect on the body, they actually have an alkalinizing effect in the system: APPLE, APRICOT, AVACADO, BERRIES, COCONUT, DATES, FIGS, GRAPES, GRAPEFRUIT, LEMON, LIME, ORANGE, PEACH, PEAR, PINEAPPLE, RHUBARB, TOMATOES, WATERMELON

90DLC: 90 DAY LIFESTYLE CHANGE


90DLC

The 90DLC is based on the concept of purging all toxins in the morning then cleansing the body and mind so as not to take anything toxic into the world with you. The diet is very low in toxins, high in nutrition and is affordable.

Diet: This is a high raw pescetarian diet designed for the alleviation of toxins, improvement of overall health and outward appearance. 

  • High Protein
  • Low Carb
  • No Alcohol
  • No Tobacco
  • High Raw
  • Low Dairy - Goat/sheep
  • No Land Meats - Pescetarian
  • No Wheat
  • No Gluten
  • No Sugar
  • High alkaline foods - Root vegetables, Leafy Greens, seeds, nuts, legumes, Garlic, Spices 
  • 3 Liters of filtered water per day. Purchase either bottled water or a gravity filter. NEVER EVER DRINK TAP WATER!

  • Apple a day
  • Egg a day
  • Leafy greens every day
  • Switch from Coffee/Tea to Green Tea
  • Introduce superfoods into your diet
  • Whey Protein Shake after workouts.

MORNING RITUAL: 2:30 HOURS

Purge Bodily Waste: 
Even if you feel you don't need to, try. Bodily waste is acidic and if not released at regular intervals the alkaline/acidic balance of your body can cause the body grow cancer. 
Don't Hold it in!








Exercise:
  • WARM UP

  • 20-25 MINS JOG
  • 20-25 MINS CYCLE
  • 2-5 MINS SKIPPING
  • 15 MINS WEIGHTS + UPR BODY
  • 10 MINS ABS


Alternate daily between:
  1. 40 min kundalini meditation

 
2.   or 50 mins chakra yoga

Fódla: Explanitory Article


  • Fódla (FOE-LA)whose name means ‘Sod of Earth’, is the daughter of Ernmas (the mother Goddess of Ireland) and the wife of Mac Cecht, a leader of the Tuatha de Dannan

  • She is a Goddess of War attributed to protection, sovereignty and leadership.
  • She is a warrior charged with the protection of the Island.
  • She was reigning Queen at the time of the Milesian invasion.
  • The Tuatha de Dannan finally succumbed to the Milesians but three separate deals were struck with Amairgin so that the newly conquered lands would be named after the three daughters of Ernmas (Banbha at Slieve Mis, Fódla at Slieve Felim and Éiriu at Sleieve Uisneach) so that the Tuatha de Dannan might live on in name.
  • Fódla was killed by Eadán at the battle of Tailtiu which marked the defeat of the Tuatha de Dannan
